The study will cover the role biotrade plays in transitioning to a Green Economy and address issues related to economic development, conservation and poverty reduction within a Green Economy context.

The workshop was attended by over 25 participants from various government agencies, NGOs, research institutes, and the private sector. Discussions covered the study’s focus, the definition of biotrade in Nepal and various weaknesses and strengths of different biotrade sectors.
